Applicable taxes: 5% GST + 9.975% TVQ

1. General Information

Passengers should arrive 30 minutes prior to departure at the following address:

31 rue des Pilotes, Les Escoumins, Quebec, G0T 1K0.

Departures are on time, without exception. Delays cannot be tolerated.

Equipment provided if required:

  • Isothermal jacket
  • Waterproof pants
  • Approved life jacket

2. Requirements and Restrictions

For safety reasons, Du Fleuve reserves the right to refuse boarding to anyone who does not meet the following criteria:

Boarding ban:

  • Children under 5
  • Pregnant women
  • People with back pain or physical limitations
  • People with symptoms of infection, including COVID-19

Other conditions:

  • Children between the ages of 5 and 8 may be denied access depending on weather conditions. An ID may be required.
  • Groups of 4 people or more can be spread over different boats.

3. Practical advice

We recommend bringing:

  • Warm clothes (long pants, sweater, closed shoes, gloves, hat)
  • Change of clothes
  • Camera or camera

4. Bookings and Cancellations

Payment required in full upon reservation.

Cancellations by the customer:

  • 15 days or more before the activity: full refund
  • Between 8 and 14 days: 50% refund
  • 7 days or less: no refund

Cancellations by Du Fleuve:

Du Fleuve reserves the right to cancel a cruise at any time for safety or weather reasons.

In this case, a full refund or a deferral will be offered, with no additional compensation.

5. Release of Responsibilities Policy

Acceptance of risks:

By booking, you acknowledge that cruises involve inherent risks:

  • Sudden movements of the boat
  • Unpredictable weather
  • Accidental injuries
  • Fall, hypothermia, contact with water
  • No guarantee of whale watching

You fully and voluntarily assume these risks and release Du Fleuve Inc., its directors, employees and partners from all liability.

Environmental conditions:

Du Fleuve does not guarantee the weather, visibility, or the presence of cetaceans.

Limitation of liability:

To the extent permitted by law, Du Fleuve declines all responsibility for any direct, indirect, special or consequential damages.

Third-party services:

Du Fleuve may use external service providers for certain parts of the experience. It cannot be held responsible for the actions or omissions of these third parties.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

By taking part in a cruise, you agree to:

  • Follow staff instructions
  • Wear the safety equipment provided
  • Inform Du Fleuve of any medical condition or special need
  • Adopt a respectful and safe behavior

7. Acceptance of the Conditions

Any reservation made implies full acceptance of these conditions.
