Whale watching cruise

Hop on board our 12-passenger zodiacs and let yourself be guided by our team of enthusiasts to observe whales, seals and birds, while exploring the richness of the river. Each outing takes place in accordance with the rules of approach established by the Saguenay—Saint-Laurent Marine Park, in order to favor responsible and respectful encounters with wildlife.

To limit the number of boats on the observation sites and reduce the disturbance, our departure times are deliberately offset from those of other companies.

About our hydrophone

A hydrophone (underwater microphone that allows marine sounds to be heard) is always on board our boats. However, its use depends on specific conditions. The hydrophone is very sensitive to noise pollution, but also to the state of the river: rough seas, strong waves or strong currents can reduce the chances of listening.

That's why we prefer times when the river is quieter — especially during sunrise cruises, when there is less maritime traffic and conditions are generally more favourable.

To optimize your chances of hearing the songs, especially those of belugas, we recommend the 6:30-minute cruises.

Private cruises

Do you want to live the experience in complete privacy? It is possible to book a private boat directly via our reservation platform. The maximum capacity remains 12 people, even for private outings.
Please note: children under 5 and pets are only allowed on board private boats.

Important information

For safety reasons, children under 5 years of age (except private trips), pregnant women and people with back pain are not allowed on board.
